OPM Song

What is OPM?
Original Pinoy Music, commonly known as OPM. Originally referred to Philippine pop songs, particularly ballads, that were popular in the Philippines during the late 70s to the present.

One of my favorite OPM Song is “Hindi Tayo Pwede” by The Juans.

I first heard this song in movie of “Hindi Tayo Pwede” directed by Joel Lamangan. When the song play I felt the pain of the story of the movie. Starting that day I have liked that song, so I search that song and listen to it and realization hits me with its lyrics and the message of it.

The message of the song entitled “Hindi Tayo Pwede” wants to convey to the listeners are,
“There are things in life that are not for you.”
“There are things that no matter how much you like it, they don’t like you.” People think that everything is possible, that everything can be achieved. But the truth is there are things in life that are not for you. This song help us to accept that. Because accepting is one step towards finding the right place for us, accepting help us to grow as a person.
